This was an amazing adventure! The process for getting ready for the snorkeling adventure was very well planned. The guide was encouraging and very good at describing each step, what to not do, and what to expect next. The actual snorkeling was awesome. And we got underwater pictures to share with friends. If you are the least bit adventurous, do this!

The guide was excellent. She was local and knew the areas we visited really well. She had even supported the Grindavik community during some of the lava flows of recent years. I am sorry I can’t remember her name. The tour was informative, there was plenty of geological facts and knowledge and really helped bring this fascinating landscape to life. I enjoyed this tour every bit as much as the golden circle one. The walk up to the lava fields was great too. Highly recommend.
