We had a wonderful time on the whale watching tour! The guide was excellent at telling the whale watchers where to look when a whale was spotted; she also provided helpful background information on the whales and their behavior. The vessel captain did a wonderful job navigating toward the whales that were spotted. All of the crew were friendly and welcoming.

It was amazing. We saw humpback whales right up close to the boat (The whales came up to the boat which apparently they will do with the smaller boats) Believe the staff if they say it’s rough - they reckon it was about as rough as it gets and quite a few people were sick. We took the advice of the staff and sat at the back -also took the travel sickness pill which was provided -and were fine. Although overalls are available these are for warmth and are not waterproof -we got soaked and the only thing I would change is I would have worn waterproofs. However It was VERY MUCH WORTH IT.

Great way to start our trip after a red eye flight. So cozy in the forward cabin we actually fell asleep on our way back into port!
