Our 3-day kayaking trip was exceptional! The gear was high quality, kayaks in great shape, and our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and very careful in his navigation. The food cooked for dinners was excellent, and snacks and other meals were plenty.
Our trip changed slightly, as we weren't able to land on the island, but our guide came up with such a fun alternative of visiting a small local Cafe that was a perfect spot to get out to stretch our legs!
The neoprene suit underneath and warm dry top was adequate for the conditions. Spray skirts were heavy duty. We brought 2 dry bags with most of our stuff, but they had plenty more for our shoes and other extras we needed. The 2-person tent we used of theirs was in excellent condition.
Our guide was constantly checking the forecast, always making sure conditions were safe, and was constantly checking in with us to make sure we felt comfortable in the conditions. We always felt safe.
Overall, excellent tour, and would recommend to everyone! It's a great way to see Iceland, and the tour guides just make it that much more enjoyable! We loved Lukas!
