The Extraordinary Ice Sculptures in Lofthellir Cave in Mývatn North Iceland
While staying for a week in the Mývatn area in North Iceland I got the opportunity to visit Lofthellir cave, the extraordinary lava cave, where one can see the largest natural ice sculptures in any known lava cave in Iceland. We were staying at Mývatn so we met up with the guide at the Mývatnsstofa Visitor centre.
