Hlíðsnes Holiday Homes consist of two adjacent houses.

The houses are fully furnished in a beautiful oceanfront/countryside setting but still within a 10-minute drive to the nearest store and 20 minutes to downtown Reykjavík.

Each house sleeps up to six persons and can also be rented separately or in conjunction with the other house which is next door and also sleeps up to six people.

The houses are situated on the tip of a narrow peninsula with the ocean on one side, and an ocean connected pond on the other. There is a fantastic view in all directions and vivid birdlife with nesting grounds for 25 species and regular sightings of over 40 species. A birdwatchers paradise.

There is also a playground for children. Beautiful walks can be had in the area. Aurora Borealis (Northern lights) and starry skies in the wintertime.

The location is ideal for exploring the south-west part of Iceland and for day tours around the Reykjanes peninsula, to the Blue Lagoon, to the south coast via Krýsuvík. Þingvellir National Park is less than one hour away and Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir hot spring about an hour and a half.
