The Geothermal Exhibition is located at the Hellisheiði Power Plant, roughly 25km from Reykjavik. The exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to learn about geothermal energy production in Iceland through interactive experiences and multimedia technology. Visitors can see the turbines at work, explore the Icelandic mineral collection, and learn about Carbfix - where CO2 is turned into stone as part of the renewable energy cycle. In addition, the exhibition is located in a beautiful natural environment with mountain views and observation decks.
