Amazing service with this tour company with fast replies and they look after all the bookings with lots of choices. They booked extra bookings for us, handled flight and hotel information and made daily checks and time reminders to make sure all going well. Buses all on time .Alda hotel had great fast breakfast near bus stop 9 and 11 and on the main street of restaurants and shops so short walking distance to everything. We did book bus travel to boat ride because of late time you get back. Used their 2O% discount at our favorite the Monkey restaurant ( be sure to order the towered desert!) and Koi restaurant. They booked our Xmas dinner at awesome Lava restaurant after our Blue Lagoon premier swim. We loved all our trips-ice cave and Iceland farm tour, glacier walk with crampons , and snowmobiling excursion on Golden circle tour. We forgot to book extra snowmobile tour into ice cave. Airport transfer easy and you need your green card as well as your passport if you use that. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days and surprised air temperature in Reykjavík was over 40 degrees at Xmas. We enjoyed boat tour but did not see Northern Lights even though there was a clear sky on December 27,2025. Two in party of 6 over 70 years of age and a teenager age 16 and everybody happy with active schedule., We wore layers - merino wool body liner+merino wool sweater and Knee length waterproof Hellly Hansen coat with merino wool liner socks and outer Smartwool knee high socks all bought at Amazon for this Xmas trip. ( I took fleece but did not wear because of warmer weather..) you need waterproof snow boots for trips and I wore one pair of waterproof sneakers for street ware and plane travel. Wind not bad and rain did not bother us as rain came and went and didn’t seem to last long but you do need waterproof coats and worm waterproof hats and gloves. Airports not crowed Christmas Eve or on return trip on December 29 so great time to travel. Recommend upgrade on airplane seats but not their food so do carryon food. We took Icelandic Kronas for tips -which guides and bus drivers who also acted as tour guides appreciated as they work long days but not everybody tipped. But American small bills $1,$5 and $10 work everywhere as well.
