Gamla Husid – The Old House is a refurbished country house located on a horse farm. Built in 1932, the building has recently been restored to offer modern accommodation in South Iceland. The cottage sleeps up to six people comfortably.

Inside, there are two bedrooms, both of which sleep two people. One bedroom has a double bed, and the other features a bunk bed, perfect if you’re traveling with children. The living room has a sofa bed that can accommodate two people.

There is also a bathroom with a shower, bath, and a hairdryer.

All the towels and bed linens you’ll need are included, so you don’t need to worry about bringing these with you.

Outside there is a garden and a terrace where you can relax when the weather is fine. You may even enjoy a fantastic show of the northern lights in winter.
