Holaskjol: Cabin 1 is designed with efficiency in mind. There are two comfortable double beds inside it for you to sleep in, stacked on top of each other in a bunk arrangement to minimize the amount of space they take up. Next to the beds, you’ll find a sizeable dining table for eating your meals. The kitchen across from the table comes with a fridge and stove for you to use as well as tableware, and there is a BBQ outside of the house that you can cook on too. There are also picnic tables that you can use to eat your food outside if you like, as well as a small porch to sit on and enjoy the scenery.
The shower at this cabin is housed in a separate shed and is shared between the guests in all four cabins at this location. However, there is a private indoor bathroom with a sink and toilet.
Extra bed sheets are available upon request for a small extra fee, and free parking is available.
This cabin sits in a rocky area of southern Iceland away from any cities or towns of significant size – perfect for those who prefer to spend time in nature.
