The Geysir Geothermal Area is only twenty minutes up the road, while the magnificent waterfall of Gullfoss is about thirty; 45 minutes traveling west, you’ll reach the historically and geologically fascinating Thingvellir National Park. You’ll also be able to reach lesser-known sites such as the Fontana Spa and Kerid Crater Lake in 25 minutes.
Despite the proximity to the wonders of the Golden Circle being their greatest appeal, the Blue View Cabins can also work as a base to explore the sites of the South Coast; the nearest, Seljalandsfoss, is just over an hour away.
For amenities and services such as gas stations and grocery stores, you can head to the villages of Skalholt, Fludir, and Laugarvatn, which can be reached in 10, 15, and 20 minutes respectively.

The beautiful Blue View Cabins come in two varieties based on your group size. The larger ones have two bathrooms and three beds in two rooms, whereas the smaller ones have one bedroom with two beds and one bathroom. All feature a fully equipped kitchen and television and, of course, their own private hot tubs.
They also boast fantastic views with nature in every direction, making there few better accommodation options for looking for the Northern Lights in winter or Midnight Sun in summer.
