Múlakot 3 is furnished with rustic charm and takes you to the very heart of Iceland's grand highlands. Its single bedroom has a queen size bed with complete bed clothes, a closet and reading lights. A comfortable sofa in the living room makes a great pull-out bed for extra guests or to just cuddle up and watch a movie on TV. The bathroom is well-equipped with a hairdryer, soap, shampoo and towels, and includes a sink with mirror, a toilet and a shower.
The small kitchen is well-equipped with a small fridge, an induction plate, pots and pans, a microwave and other smaller appliances such as a kettle and coffee maker.
Outside Múlakot 5 is a secluded patio with a gas barbecue and furniture for outdoor cooking and dining.

Múlakot 5 lies 15 minutes away from Borgarnes, the gateway to West Iceland's Snaefellsnes National Park. It's a great place from where to explore famed and less-known spots in the area.
The Snaefellsnesvegur is an hour and a half away by car, from where you can visit the Giant Padlock Beach, the Londragar volcanic towers and the Gattkletur arch rock. Away to the East of the cabin lie the Glanni waterfall and the Surtshellir lava cave, each of which deserve a day trip. The Snaefellsnes penensular and Husafell are also a short distance away. You could book an "Into the Glacier" tour and enjoy the amazing man-made ice caves in Langjökull.
