Marvel over the Northern Lights on this incredible, relaxing tour. There is no need to worry about language barriers on this bus; each guest receives a kit through which they can be audio guided in 10 different languages.

Seeing the aurora borealis is on the bucket list of many, and Iceland is one of the best places in the world to catch sight of them. To watch the lights dancing in brilliant displays of green, purple, red, blue and white is an unreal experience that you will not want to miss.

Your tour will start from Reykjavík Terminal at your chosen departure time or 30 minutes before if you have chosen tto be picked up. You will spend approximately three hours hunting for the lights. There is no set plan of where to go, but your guide, an expert on the aurora, knows all the best vantage points and will be tracking the cloud cover online to get you to the best spots.

Although you will have an audio commentary, your guide is still more than happy to answer any additional questions that you have. Furthermore, they know the best ways to photograph the aurora. When the Northern Lights appear, they will help you out with your camera so that you can capture your memory of them for life.

Tripods are kept on the bus for your use so that you can get the perfect picture. You can also rent out an ‘aurora jacket’ if the winter night is colder than you dressed for, so you can marvel in comfort.

Of course, the appearance of the Northern Lights is very dependent on weather. The sky must be dark enough, there must be significant space between the clouds, and atmospheric conditions, reliant on solar winds, have to be right. Therefore this tour will only run if the lights are expected.

If your trip is cancelled, or it goes ahead, and you are not lucky enough to see them, fear not. You will have as many free extra goes as it takes until you get your moment.

Seeing the Northern Lights is an incredible experience. Doing so with an experienced guide, with commentary in the language most comfortable to you, makes it all the more special.

So do not hesitate a moment longer. Jump aboard to see the incredible, awe-inspiring phenomenon of the Northern Lights. Check availability by choosing a date.

Our guide was fantastic. While it looked like the lights would not show themselves, but the night was wonderful after the lights showed up. A very memorable experience.

Amazing tour, bearing in mind the natural conditions dependencies... If something is meant to improve it is the organization/information on passengers pick up. AS we were at the meeting point on time and we had to wait half an hour seeing buses coming in and out picking passengers and not information whatsoever about our bus... Other than that, everything was exceptional. The warm welcome from our Polish guide and also nice Slovakian driver. The guide was very instructive, and he passed along tablets with more information for those who asked for it (At no extra cost). The tour was meant to be from 10PM till midnight but because the conditions weren't the best, but it was a remote possibily they kept us out until 2am plus the time to come back. Tiring, but really appreciated the effort on content us all. If this wasn't sufficient they granted the validity of our voucher to come again in the future and give it another go since we didn't finally saw the lights. Excellent tour

very lucky to see the northern light during the first hunt tour. Learned a lot about northern light. The tour guide was Elizabeth, she's so so so nice and she could at least speak four languages, very amazing.

The tour was pretty good, it includes tablet for audio guide about the tour but you will have to bring your own headphones. The tour also has tripod that you could borrow but very limited. We was able to see the northern lights on our first tour. Tour guide talking was a little annoying though.

We waited outside the hotel for two hours in the cold wind. There was no car to pick us up and no tour guide to contact us. The next day we knew through the front desk that all the aurora had been cancelled because of the weather, but we didn't receive any notice. In addition, in the process of contacting the refund, I didn't receive any reply in a week. That's too bad!!
