Once you arrive at Keflavik airport and collect your bags, your private driver will be waiting to pick you up from the terminal. With a warm greeting, you'll be whisked straight off to your boutique luxury hotel in the capital city of Reykjavik.

Keep your eyes peeled out the window during your journey to get a flavor of Iceland with wide-spanning lava fields and mountain peaks of the otherworldly Reykjanes peninsula.

On day 2, you'll wake up in comfort in Europe's most northerly capital city, Reykjavik, and enjoy a lavish breakfast before hitting the town once more. Today, you'll focus on capturing all of the elements of the city you may have missed on your first day of travel.

Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel at the time of your choosing and show you around and cater to your interests, as well as explain the history, geology, culture, and country you're exploring.

When sightseeing, you should make sure to visit some of the fantastic landmarks such as Hallgrimskirkja church, Perlan observation deck, Reykjavik harbor, as well as a sample of the great selection of museums and galleries dotted around the city.

We will hand-pick a local restaurant for you to taste some fine Icelandic cuisine over lunch.

The most active geyser in the Geysir Geothermal area, Strokkur.

Day 3 - Nature of Iceland

Today is a day for more adventure. With so much on offer in Iceland, we're offering you three spectacular options depending on what you prefer to see and experience.

Option 1 - Take a private tour of the Golden Circle, Iceland's most famous sightseeing trail. Along this route, you'll get a taste of the dramatic and diverse nature of Iceland. On this 7-hour trip, you'll make a stop at the beautiful Thingvellir national park, which sits in the section between 2 continental tectonic plates (North American and Eurasian). Rich in color and wilderness, Thingvellir national park offers breathtaking views of waterfalls, lakes, and the famous Silfra fissure rift, which has been a popular diving and snorkeling site for visitors wanting to delve into the depths of the rift between the two continents.

Next, you'll head to the Geysir geothermal area. Here, you'll walk among the steaming vents, mud pots, and hot springs in a strong mist of geothermal smells stimulating your senses. The crowning feature of this spot is the spouting hot spring named Strokkur. This incredible force of nature erupts towering spouts of boiling water up to 66 ft (20m) every 5-10 minutes. So keep your camera ready!

Your final stop on this Golden Circle tour will take you to the mighty Gullfoss waterfall. This magnificent waterfall is fed by the glacier meltwater of the Langjokull glacier along the Hvita river, where the waterfall cascades down 105 ft (32m) in 2 parts, thundering down into the carving valley below. If you're lucky enough, you may even get the chance to see a rainbow climbing up from the top of the falls while you feel the powerful mist in your face.

Option 2 - Take a private tour of the wondrous and enchanting South Coast of Iceland. On this 10-hour tour, you'll venture past mountains, glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls, and black sand beaches.

You'll start the day picked up by your private guide, who will take you out of the city and into the rural nature of Iceland, answering all questions along the way. You'll first stop at the spectacular waterfall of Seljalandsfoss, which you'll see from the road. Here, you'll get the unique opportunity to walk behind this famous waterfall through a perfectly formed cavern that appears around the back.

Next, you'll head straight to the next waterfall, Skogafoss, which you'll be able to get up close to or take the adjacent stairs to the top and take in an extra perspective of this incredible waterfall. Rich in folklore, Skogafoss is said to host a mighty treasure hidden in the chasm behind its thunderous waters.

After this, you'll visit the stunning yet eerie Reynisfjara black sand beach. Walking out onto these shores is a surreal experience, with the towering basalt rock formations of Reynisdrangar out in the water, known in folklore as a tale of 2 trolls turned to stone by the light of the rising sun having failed to find refuge when investigating a shipwreck. Make sure you explore the volcanic hexagonal caverns that decorate the shoreline. It is the perfect nesting place for the birds steering clear of the powerful roaring waves.

Option 3 - Take a private tour of the richly diverse Snaefellsnes peninsula. Due to its variety of terrains and landmarks, this peninsula is often nicknamed 'Iceland in miniature.' It is also known as a romantic escape away from the urban life of Reykjavik.

Once your private guide picks you up from your hotel, you'll head straight for the west, passing through the quaint town of Borgarnes and along the south side of the peninsula to sample the natural wonders of the coastal fishing villages of Hellnar and Arnarstapi. Take a walk along the shores and cliff edges to witness some bizarrely crafted rock formations where powerful waters rush through, creating strangely beautiful patterns in the volcanic rock.

Driving towards the tip of the peninsula, you'll pass the mighty Snaefellsjokull glacier, which stands proudly as the highest point on the peninsula. Nearby, you will be able to take a detour and opt for a caving experience at Vatnshellir. This will take you deep into the beautiful caverns of a lava cave rich in color and geological history.

Next, you'll visit mount Kirkjufell on the northern side of the peninsula next to the charming village of Grundarfjordur. Though the name of this mountain translates to 'Church Mountain,' it's nowadays better known as the 'Mountain shaped like an arrowhead' from the hit HBO show, Game of Thrones. Standing isolated from the other mountains, yet delicately close to the small waterfall of Kirkjufellsfoss, Kirkjufell is without a doubt the most-photographed mountain in the whole of Iceland.

Whichever option you select, you are in for a day rich in adventure and delight as you sample some of the most incredible parts of Iceland's amazing nature.

You will end the day in the luxurious Blue Lagoon Spa, where you will spend the next two nights. Before calling it a day, you will enjoy a lavish meal at the Blue Lagoon Lava Restaurant or Moss Restaurant.

Day 4 - The Blue Lagoon

Today you'll have the opportunity to either relax in the tranquil healing waters of the Blue Lagoon or traverse the Reykjanes peninsula to explore more of Iceland's nature.

Option 1 - Take the option to push pause on the traveling and enjoy the volcanic paradise of the Blue Lagoon, known for its mineral-rich healing waters. Bathe in tranquillity and reminisce on the great adventures and experiences you've had while here in Iceland. You can choose to add additional spa treatments or simply melt in the steamy waters with a complimentary silica mud mask and drink. This is the perfect way to unwind after your previous days of traveling.

Option 2 - Take advantage of your last full day in Iceland, and explore the volcanic wilderness of the Reykjanes peninsula. Complete with lava fields, volcanoes, and geothermal hotspots, the peninsula is well worth exploring should you still feel adventurous.

In the evening, you'll get another time to treat yourself by sampling the tasting menu at the Blue Lagoon Lava Restaurant or Moss Restaurant.

You'll retire for the night at the Blue Lagoon for a second night and rest up before your flight home the next day.
