The tour starts in Breiddalsvik, but you have the option to book pickup from the towns of Egilsstadir, Faskrudsfjordur, Stodvarfjordur, and Reydarfjordur. You’ll travel in a 4x4 super jeep with an experienced English-speaking guide and a small group of travelers.
After leaving town, you’ll follow the coastline toward the Stodvarfjordur Fjord. Along the way, stop at a high cliff with views of the Atlantic Ocean, steep shorelines, and surrounding mountains.
The drive continues toward Faskrudsfjordur Fjord with a stop at Hafnarnes Lighthouse, a coastal landmark at the end of the peninsula. This area was once home to a fishing village, and the remains of old houses can still be seen.
