The tour begins on the evening of New Year’s Day. A convenient pick-up from your accommodation or the nearest tour bus stop in Reykjavik will be arranged for you and the rest of the tour joiners.
To make your trip more comfortable, it’s essential to dress warmly against the Icelandic winter. Layers of clothes are key, including thermal undergarments, a waterproof jacket, gloves, scarves, and winter shoes or boots.
From Reykjavik, you’ll travel to the countryside to search for the best northern lights viewing spots. Away from the city’s light pollution, your group will have better access to optimal conditions to witness the aurora.
