Join this premium Golden Circle tour with extra stops at the Secret Lagoon and enjoy lunch (included) inside the tomato greenhouse of Friðheimar Farm. This popular region is rich with history and boasts powerful waterfalls, geothermal hot pools, erupting geysers, separating continental plates, as well as delicious food production, all on Reykjavik’s doorstep.

This tour begins when you are picked up and driven out of Reykjavik and head straight to warm up and soak in the natural hot springs of the Secret Lagoon, Iceland's oldest natural swimming pool. You will be there early when it is quietest, allowing you to truly relax and soak in the magic of this wonderful geothermal pool. This is a perfect way to charge up for the adventure of the day.

Afterwards, you will enjoy a unique lunch inside the tomato greenhouse farm Friðheimar, where they produce over one tonne of tomatoes each day, throughout the year, utilising the country's geothermal heat. You will be able to try their famous tomato soup, ravioli pasta or a grilled tortilla pizza, homemade bread, as well as hot beverages. This is an amazinga nd unique experience whilst in Iceland. Lunch is included in the price of this tour.

Next you will see the classic sites of the Golden Circle, in reverse order to avoid the crowds. Firstly, you'll get to witness the force of Gullfoss, one of Iceland's most powerful waterfalls. On sunny days, rainbows appear in the mist of this golden hued waterfall.

From there, it is only a short drive to see the wonders of the geothermal area of Geysir, the original exploding geyser, and its surrounding steam vents. You will see Strokkur erupt several times.

Finally, you can drive onto the famous Þingvellir National Park. This National Park holds historical and geological significance, and Þingvellir is the original site of the longest-running parliament in the world, where many of Iceland’s most important decisions were made. It is also a place of incredible beauty, sitting in the rift valley of the separating North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.

From there, it’s a short drive back into town, reaching Reykjavik in time for dinner.

The best! The Hidden Iceland tour was wonderful and worth every penny. There was snow and ice and our guide, Asgeir, gave each of us crampons so that we could easily walk on pathways where other people were struggling and slipping. He was a great ambassador for Iceland and made us feel like he really wanted us to know the country. We saw so much beauty, enjoyed a great meal at the tomato greenhouse (the bread is fantastic!), and came away with memories to last a lifetime. I highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely fantastic! Our tour guide Ryan was on-time, extremely knowledgeable, and made the tour an amazing experience. Fridheimar, which usually is visited on the Golden Circle Tours was fantastic and definitely a great addition for lunch. I loved the personalized, small-size of the tour group and would undoubtedly recommend Hidden Iceland for the Golden Circle Tour, if not more.

This was a great tour. We came in the winter months so daylight was precious, but we were able to see all the sights. The tomato farm which other tours don’t stop at really makes this trip worthwhile. Warm tomato soup on a cold winter day was perfect.

MEL was our tour guide and she was amazing. Would highly highly recommend this tour and this company. Very knowledgeable and have customised the tour to ensure best timing for guests. Lagoon/pool was so nice and different to blue lagoon (more natural). Definitely got to see everything we wanted and Mel also gave good advise on best viewing points and would walk us over to each of the attractions if we were interested. Great day!

We did this tour with the company Hidden Iceland, we didn't realize guide to Iceland was a third party site. However, Hidden Iceland was amazing and this was such a great tour! It truly was a small personalized group tour, our tour guide got out at every stop like a true tour guide and explained the sights. He also went above and beyond to take our photos so we didn't even have to use our selfi stick to great photos of my husband and I at the attractions. We had ample time everywhere and never felt rushed. He also made the long bus rides enjoyable by giving us a lot of information about the area and Iceland in general. He was VERY knowledgable and you can tell he enjoys sharing his knowledge. The tour itself is great and more unique than the average Golden Circle tour. The tomato greenhouse was so unique to see and was such a delicious spot for lunch! Our guide also stopped at some extra places that weren't on the official listed tour giving us and even more personalized experience. We had such a great day and actually wished we had brought cash to give him a tip for going above and beyond. He didn't have a tip jar out and it was actually nice to not be asked for a tip like other tour guides... it made us want to give one even more. I have to say we had an amazing day but didn't fully appreciate how great this personalized small group tour was until we had a regular tour experience with another company on our South Coast excursion in Iceland. I would recommend Hidden Iceland for all of your tours during your visit.
