Go whale watching and see the famous Golden Circle of Iceland. This is an unforgettable combination tour where you'll experience the whales, birdlife and nature of Faxafloi bay, coupled with a visit to three of Iceland's most beautiful natural attractions.

The most frequently seen whales in Faxafloi bay are white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises, minke whales and humpbacks. Among birds that may be spotted are various gulls, gannets, cormorants ans the Arctic tern. Between May and September, you may also see puffins.

As a part of your tour you also have access to the floating Whale Exhibition Centre at Reykjavik Harbour.

The other tour in this combination takes you to the Golden Circle, comprised of Þingvellir National Park, Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir hot spring area. Þingvellir is a UNESCO World Heritage Site situated on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where you can walk between the continents of Europe and America.

Next there is the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, Iceland's most famous waterfall. It is located in the popular rafting river Hvita and plummets down 32 meters into the river gorge. You can stand close enough to the edge of the waterfall to feel the water on your face.

Last, but not least, is the Geysir geothermal area, with its hot pools and the hot springs, the most famous being Geysir and Strokkur. The former no longer erupts but the latter is a mighty one, erupting every 4-8 minutes at an average height of 15-20 meters, sometimes as high as 40 meters. Truly a breathtaking sight.

Don't miss the wonderful wildlife of Faxafloi bay and Iceland's most beloved sites! Go whale watching and see the Golden Circle on this popular combination trip. Check availability by choosing a date.

very cool! i loved the geyser and gulfoss :)

Was left at first. We waited pick-up service for more than one hour (7:40-9:00) but no one contacted us. When I called them they said the driver had been there at 8:20. It was so cold to stand outside even summer time. After negotiating, they helped to re-arrange. But who will compensate our time! The guide and content was nice and great of course.

Whale watching presented us an incomparable experience! We saw a shoal of dolphins and whales from a distance, but one of whales swam right up to the boat. He surfaced a few times, and then dived and swam under the boat. It was just WOW! By the way, the tour guide on board was very nice and funny, told interesting facts about dolphins and whales and joked funny. The Golden Circle tour was great, interesting, we had time to look what we wanted, take a photos, stroll on various stops. The guide was also polite, pleasant and knowledgeable. It is very good tour for people who doesn`t have a car and travelling by buses :)

The trip's were a lot of fun, the skipper of the boat tried very hard to find the whales and succeeded, everything was done to make the trip an enjoyable one, which it was. The Golden circle tour was very interesting with the guides being very knowledgeable, overall a very good day out, highly recommended.

We didn't see whales on the tour, instead we saw quite many dolphins but they were a bit far from us. The golden circle tour was great, the waterfall and the geysir were incredible, but the trip might be a bit too short since it was only half of the day for golden circle, we did not get to go deep inside of each place. Still a good one day tour for people with limited traveling days.
