Perfect day. The activity is really complete. The coach is 4x4 and they do several stops during the way to see different zones of the highlands. Totally recommended. Guide is very nice and she explains a lot of things during the trip.

Granted...getting to Askja is not without effort. But as with most things in life, the best experiences need to be earned. Driving to Askja is not recommended unless you have a jeep and feel comfortable with river crossings. I'm not, so I choose to join this tour instead and ride to Askja in a banging vintage highland bus. And boy, was it worth it? The Askja Caldera is a true diamond in the rough. It's out of this world.

想去阿斯基亚好久好久好久了，但是这里是真的远，高地路长也颠簸，实在不想自己开车，哪怕有四驱，毕竟还要过河。所以还是觉得环岛的时候从米湖参加个团整体最合适。这个团惊喜不少，中途一些停靠点也很有意义，看到了个人原因很喜欢的冰岛皇后之山Herðubreið，还有真真正正阿姆斯壮登月演习的高地。而且目前Nasa还在“龙谷”Drekagil建立了新的基地，为2022年的火星探测任务做科研和实验，太硬核了。Askja的景色结合了美与奇，一个火山湖、一个火山口的地热湖紧邻一起，看照片不敢相信，实际真的就长那样，而且比想象的要大的多。向导很赞，信息足，讲话清晰，语速不急，同时回程给了大家时间休息。整个旅行团大约需要走6公里左右，倒是都很容易走，基本都是平地，不过如果实在不喜欢坐车，恐怕会觉得略微难熬。12个小时的旅行团，大概7个小时在车上。沿途厕所什么的都有，还是挺方便的，也都挺干净，就是一定要自己带吃的。比起另一个超级吉普小型团，这个的性价比高的多。

Points positifs : le cratère qui est donc l'étape finale de lexcursion est magnifique, et il est possible de s'y baigner (la descente dans le cratère n'est pas très facile et peut se révéler dangereuse). Points négatifs : le trajet, très long et sur une route très chaotique. Je vous déconseille de vous mettre tout au fond du véhicule. C'est probablement la pire place, aussi bien du point de vue du confort que pour entendre les commentaires de la guide. En conclusion : le cratère Viti, qui est l'attraction principale de cette excursion est visuellement très beau à voir, la petite marche de 40min le précédent est également très agréable et facile. Cependant, il faut être sur d'être extrêmement motivé par cet objectif, car le trajet est très long, très inconfortable et les précédents arrêts avant d'arriver au cratère, peu intéressants. Le rapport entre la durée de l'excursion totale environ 12h et le temps passé sur place au cratère, 1h30 environ, nous a semblé disproportionné et pas assez long pour en profiter.
