Our guide for the day Laurent was absolutely amazing, informative not just about the geological features of glaciers and ice caves, but about Icelandic culture. The tour was excellently managed including setting up expectations (what to bring / how to dress etc.) as well as a drive to the glacier in challenging conditions. He took us to some cool spots and despite the blizzardy weather we felt like it was a great exploration of the very special glacier. A couple of small points for improvement, more for the organisers: - While the Trip clearly stated a difficulty level of Hard, some participants were not that fit and slowed the others down, perhaps the difficulty level stated in the trip description can be more descriptive (should be able to climb across slippery ice surfaces, walk 6km/jog 3km with ease, withstand untoward winter weather, etc.). - The weather being this bad, we were on a glacier but could barely see it, and that's why (for no fault of the guide or organisers) we felt like it wasn't great value for money. Perhaps some option that makes up for this like a reschedule or a short follow up trip on a clear day thrown in when the weather is bad would be a talk-worthy delight point for customers?
