Amazing tour and brilliant guide. Laurent was our guide - he made the tour very interesting and good fun, showing us some really cool things on the glacier. I really recommend him as a guide and this tour.

If you're looking for a glacier tour in Iceland, look no further!!! It really is a one of a kind experience and our guide Tryggvi made sure of just that! It's a small group tour where you avoid the crowds and the annoying tourist and you really want that to truly experience the beauty and ruggedness of the glacier. You will be take off the beaten path and this tour company has really thought of everything and timed our visit where we had the ice cave all for ourselves. Throughout our one week trip to Iceland taking this tour was the peak moment and was worth every penny! A professional tour company who take your safety as their top priority and by booking with them you're supporting a local business with local guides! If you want to experience being speechless, in awe and humbled by mother nature, don't hesitate to book this tour! You will get all that and more! The tour was phenomenal. it was 30 min one way on a truck to the site, then 5 hour of walking and exploring on/in Glacier and caves, which is exactly what I wanted. The tour says "challenging", and I would encourage anyone that is physically fit and can hike for several hours to do this tour. We often stop/stand, observe, listen to the guide Laurent, and take pictures - the whole thing was very enjoyable because of the perfect pace he set. The further you go into the glaciers, the bluer the ice becomes, and you will be rewarded by the spectacular ice caves (we explored the inside of at least several ice caves that you would not be able to see if you are on shorter ice cave tours). Laurent is an excellent guide - he is not only knowledgeable, but also professional, experienced, funny, and kind. He shared so many stories along the way about glaciers, ice, caves, their features and differences, volcanoes, and other natural phenomenon. If I return to this location in the future, I would signup and do this tour again.
