Lovely trip! The flight was only 35 min, not 1 h as mentioned in the booking. Good pilot.

Nice tour by plane; very competent and friendly pilot / guide who did the utmost to please us and provided useful explanations and background information. After the tour with many loops above the vulcano area, we could also make some turns over the city area of Reykjavik and thus got a fine overview of this entire region in Iceland. Here is why I did not provide a 5-star rating though: 1. The meeting place was not sufficiently well indicated by «Guide to Iceland». If you only get the information «Meeting location - Reykjavik FBO», which obviously is the domestic airport in Reykjavik, any Taxi driver will get you to the main terminal (Icelandair), which is the wrong place. Fortunately, the pilot called us 10' prior to the meeting time, so we could change to the other terminal and we could still find the rest of the group so, on the cost of another taxi ride. The correct indication would have been «EagleAir Terminal, near Hotel Natura». Hence, pleace change and adapt indication of the meeting location accordingly! 2. We have booked the trip approximately 1 week in advance. Unfortunately, the volcano stopped being active in the meantime. Of course, this can happen; this is nature and there was no guarantee of anything. However, it would have been nothing less than fair, if we had got the information by the provider, prior to the event, in order to still decide upon going however, or cancelling the trip.
