Aron was an amazing guide. The food was delicious with the exception of fermented shark. It was a tiny taste but left much to be desired. The evening ended with a delicious rhubarb crisp. Thr tour is worth the expense for a delicious taste of Iceland cuisine.
Show up hungry to this tour. We did the morning tour which included a breakfast spot not on the tours later in the day. Heidi, our guide, was knowledgeable and added a couple extra stops to our trip to show us some sights of interest that were on the way to the bakeries and restaurants. The food was really good at all the spots especially the Arctic Char and the Rye Bread Ice Cream. We also got to try the fermented shark and Brennivín.
