Figure skating women's singles star Shin Ji-ah (Yeongdong Middle School) is attempting to win the Junior World Championships for the third consecutive year.
Jia Shin will compete in the women's single short program at the 2024 International Skating Union (ISU) Figure Skating Junior World Championships held at the Taipei Arena in Taiwan on the 28th.

In 2022, she ranked second with 206.01 points, losing 0.54 points to Issa Bo Levito (206.55 points, USA).

Shin Jia, who received 201.90 points, was unable to surpass her rival Mao Shimada (224.54 points, Japan) and took the silver medal.
Shin Ji-ah is expected to compete with Shimada for a medal in this competition as well.

Kim Yu-jae ranked 4th at last year's Junior World Championships, and Kim Yu-sung ranked 4th at Gangwon 2024 held last month.
Seo Min-gyu (Kyungshin Middle School) and Lee Jae-geun (Suri High School) will compete in the men's singles short program to be held on the 29th.
In ice dance, the team of Kim Ji-ni and Lee Namu (Gyeonggi Provincial Skating Federation) will compete in rhythm dance on the 1st of next month.
