Busan's Kim Ha Yoon wins bronze in women's judo's heaviest weight class after 24 years
Busan's female warrior Kim Ha-yoon gave the opening pitch for Lotte's victory in the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League match between the Lotte Giants and SSG Landers at Sajik Baseball Stadium in Busan on August 8th.
Wearing a Lotte jersey and cool wide-legged pants, Kim said, “Hello, I'm Kim Ha-yoon, a judo national team member. I'm so honored to be here in Busan, my hometown, and I'll be cheering for the Lotte Giants to win today,” and then shouted, ”Go Lotte Giants!”
Women's judoka Ganpan Kim Ha-yoon, 24, of Ansan, 토토사이트 defeated Kaira Ozdemir of Turkiye in the bronze medal match of the women's 78 kg and over category at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games at the Champs de Mars stadium in Paris, France.
Kim became the first South Korean to win a medal in the women's lightest weight class in 24 years, following Kim Sun-young's bronze at Sydney 2000.
