KIA magic number '6′... Kim Do-young is a waiting list
Kia's Kim Do-young (21) became the third player in baseball history and the youngest player in the history of the game to achieve the “batting average of 30-30, home runs, 100 RBI, 100 runs scored, and 30 stolen bases” after Park Jae-hong (Hyundai) in 2000 and Eric Thames (NC) in 2015.

Leader Kia won its fourth straight game with a 5-2 victory over Kiwoom. Kim Do-young's triple with one out in the bottom of the eighth tied the game at 2-2. Kia became the first of the 10 teams to reach 80 wins (50 L, 2 W, 2 D), reducing the magic number of wins needed for first place in the regular season to six.

SSG moved from seventh to sixth place with an 11-6 win over home team Lotte in Sajik. Guillermo Heredia led the offense, going 3-for-4 with four RBIs, including a three-run homer in the eighth inning. Eighth-ranked Lotte lost its third straight.
