Ahead of the match against the SSG in Daejeon on Tuesday, Hanwha registered its outfielder Lim Jong-chan as its first team entry. As soon as the 10-day re-registration deadline was met after the cancellation of the entry on April 22, he was called to the first team.

Last year, Moon Hyun-bin recorded his seventh 100 hits in the history of a high school graduate with a batting average of 266 ri (114 hits in 428 times at bat) with five homers, 49 RBIs and 47 runs.

He started the season as a key second baseman, but only posted 24 games of batting average of 231 percent (18 hits in 78 times at bat), one home run, 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored. In eight games in March, he had a batting average of 346 percent (nine hits in 26 times at bat), nine RBIs, seven walks and six strikeouts, but his pace dropped sharply in April with 16 games of batting average of 17 percent (nine hits in 52 times at bat), one home run, three RBIs, four walks and 14 strikeouts.

The decline continued after hitting a home double play with a grounder to second base on the first pitch in the ninth inning of the game against Lotte in Daejeon on the 2nd of last month. He seemed to be shaken mentally, and he went down to the second division for the first time since his debut and had a recharging time.

In the Futures League, he hit hard with a batting average of 364 percent (12 hits in 33 times at bat) and one homer and three RBIs in eight games. He played in two games (first starting) as a center fielder as well as a second baseman, and prepared to move back and forth between the two sides depending on situations in the first division.

With Moon Hyun-bin's return to the main league, outfielder Lim Jong-chan was removed from the roster again. He entered the opening game as an exhibition game and hit a walk-off double in the opening game at his home, but failed to continue his momentum. He had played in the secondary league once in mid-April, but struggled even after returning to the primary league. This year, the primary league recorded a batting average of 14.8 percent (eight hits in 54 times at bat) and seven RBIs in 21 games.

Meanwhile, Hanwha started the lineup in the order of Choi In-ho (left fielder), Lee Jin-young (center fielder), Jonathan Peraza (right fielder), Roh Si-hwan (third baseman), An Chi-hong (first baseman), Kim Tae-yeon (designated hitter), Hwang Young-mook (striker), Park Sang-eon (catcher), and Lee Do-yoon (second baseman) to mark Oh Won-seok as the starting pitcher of the SSG. Hwang Joon-seo will be the starting pitcher.

Chae Eun-seong, who remained silent with no hit in seven at-bats in the previous two games against the SSG, was out of the starting lineup and Kim Tae-yeon entered as the designated hitter. "Chae Eun-seong played as the first baseman on the first day, and also played as the right fielder for the first time in a long time yesterday (1st). When he is not in good condition, he will save his physical strength and go back to the starting lineup tomorrow," Hanwha coach Choi Won-ho said. "Kim Tae-yeon is in good condition, and his opponent's record is good, so he will play as the designated hitter."

Kim has displayed stellar performance this season as he posted a batting average of .380 (12 hits in 39 times at bat) with one homer and eight RBIs with an OPS of .922 in 20 games. He is strong as he has a batting average of .300 (three hits in 10 times at bat) against left-handed pitchers. He also posted a good batting average of .385 (five hits in 13 times at bat) against Oh.
