14-hit explosion - Park Dong-won's back-to-back home runs

LG has won two straight games thanks to an explosive batting lineup. 

LG won 11-4 against NC on Thursday at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul. The team's batting lineup exploded. Park Dong-won, who returned from injury, hit back-to-back home runs.

Hong Chang-ki went 4-for-3 with a home run, three runs scored and one RBI, Moon Sung-joo went 5-for-5 with a home run, one run scored and one RBI, Austin had three hits and Koo Bon-hyuk had three RBI.

LG loaded the bases in the bottom of the first inning on an infield single by Hong Chang-ki, a single to left by Moon Sung-joo, and a walk by Kim Hyun-soo. Austin followed with an RBI double to make it 2-1, and with two outs, Koo Bon-hyuk hit a two-run single to make it 4-1.

In the bottom of the inning, LG put runners on first and second with Hong Chang-ki singling to right and Moon Sung-joo singling to center. Kim Hyun-soo 카지노 grounded out to third base to put runners on first and third, and Austin hit a sacrifice fly to center field to make it 5-2. 

LG added another run in the third inning. Leadoff hitter Moon Bo-kyung singled to left and Oh Ji-hwan singled to right, and on a relay play, a quick throw to the plate put runners on second and third with no outs. Koo Bon-hyuk's sacrifice fly scored a run. With the bases loaded, Hong Chang-ki hit an RBI single and Moon Sung-joo followed with an RBI double to make it 8-2.

LG added another run in the fourth inning. Kim Hyun-soo led off with a double to right-center field. With one out, Park Dong-won hit Choi Sung-young's fastball for a two-run home run (his sixth of the season) over the left field wall. The score went to 10-2, giving LG an early lead. LG answered in the seventh inning when Park Dong-won hit his seventh home run of the season. 

“Won-tae Choi did a great job as a starter, taking charge of his inning even though he was off-balance early on,” said Yoon Kyung-yup after the game. 

“Early in the game, Hong Chang-ki and Moon Sung-ju gave us a chance with three hits each, and Austin and Koo Bon-hyuk had three hits each to make it easy for us to get into the game. When we needed extra runs, Park Dong-won sealed the victory with a back-to-back home run.”
