Lilja Guesthouse is a perfect base for Ice Caving tours, Glacier Hiking and boat tours. You can also visit Diamond beach alongside Jokulsarlon, about 40km from the guesthouse, where glaciers traveling to the ocean are washed back onto black sands. 50km from the guesthouse, you can explore the colourful mountain hiking area, Lónsöræfi. Spectacular landscapes at Stokksnes (30km) and Almannaskarð are within easy reach, and Skaftafell National Park is 108km away.
