Set out on a thrilling three-day adventure across the most incredible sites in Iceland with a guide, including glacier hiking and puffin-watching. Those eager to see waterfalls, ice caps, geothermal areas, and glacier lagoons on a preplanned, personalized trip should book this summer tour now.
After being picked up from your hotel in Reykjavik, you'll set out on a beautiful trip that covers the famous Golden Circle, South Coast, and Vatnajokull National Park. Three days will be spent sightseeing and embarking on local adventures, and you will enjoy the two evenings in hotels.
Guaranteed to be at least three-star hotels, you will have a comfortable private room with an en suite bathroom, free Wi-Fi, and breakfast. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also provided in the modern vehicle you'll be traveling in.
On day one of your tour, you'll witness the breathtaking attractions of Iceland's Golden Circle. Thingvellir National Park is a geological marvel with gorgeous landscapes and fascinating history. The Geysir geothermal area boasts exploding hot springs, and the Gullfoss waterfall is one of the country's most iconic features.
You'll also go off-the-beaten-track to the lesser-known Kerid crater with a lake at its center.
On days two and three, you'll enjoy your journey along the South Coast and into Vatnajokull National Park. While some travelers pack as much of this route into a single day as they can, taking two allows you enough time to enjoy every attraction.
The Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, the Reynisfjara black sand beach, the Fjadrargljufur canyon, and the Skaftafell Nature Reserve are just a few sites you'll explore in depth. However, the most sought-after destination en route is the magical Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon, a vast lake filled with enormous icebergs.
While on the South Coast, you will embark on two unique activities. The first is puffin watching at the Dyrholaey rock arch, where they nest in the thousands throughout summer. When admiring their clumsy walks and lifelong pairings, you'll find it impossible not to fall in love with these charming animals.
The second activity is a glacier hiking tour up the slopes of Solheimajokull glacier, an outlet of Myrdalsjokull. This once-in-a-lifetime activity will introduce you to the world of the ice cap and provide stunning views of the South.
Your guide will provide all the safety equipment you need to enjoy this adventure.
Don't miss this fantastic three-day tour of the Golden Circle and South Coast, with glacier hiking and puffin watching. Check availability now by choosing a date.
