Description

Let David The Guide take you on an adventure in Iceland. Want to experience all that the South Coast has to offer? Then look no further!

First, we begin with a pickup in Reykjavik at the Cruise Ship Port. We can offer a custom departure time if required, please note this tour is 12-13hrs if you are required to return to the ship at a certain time.

The day’s first stop is at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can even walk behind the waterfall. From there, you will continue your fantastic first day around the South Coast.

Further stops include:

Gljufrabui waterfall- which is a hidden waterfall, next to Seljlandsafoss

Skogafoss waterfall- where you can get close to the waterfall (be prepared!), and even climb stairs to the top.

Dyrholaey rock formation,

Reynisfjara- the famous black sand beach with its basalt cliffs.

When it is time for the Glacier Hike, you guide will equip you with the necessary safety gear. We will have a 3hr hike on Solheimajokull Glacier. The glacier is one of Icelands largest, and is open year-round.

Your knowledgeable guide will give you information at each stop.

Due to the Glacier Hike, this tour has an age restriction. Children under 8 years old are not able to join the tour. We do offer a regular South Coast Private Tour if you are traveling with small children.

What to bring

Please wear warm layers in case of weather changes. Glacier crampons will require a good hiking boot in order to attach properly- athletic/gym sneakers are usually too loose fitting. Boot rentals are available for an extra fee if notified in advance- we do not carry spares in our cars.
