this tour is really impressive that you could never find such a chance elsewhere to see and know the glacier in this close distance and long duration. Highly recommended to those who wants to have special experience in Iceland. One of the must-do acticity. Pay attention, compare to 3-hour tour it could be a bit physical demanding, although the view is much better.

My husband and I did the 5 hour Blue Ice Glacier hike and although I was a little worried about it being too long for me, I didn't want it to end when we were done. We actually were out for 6 hours and had so much fun! We are from CA, USA and have never seen anything like this so we were in awe of the dramatic beauty and amazing experience we were having. Our guide was Helgi and he was very knowledgeable and entertaining! Dont waste your time with the 3 hour hike, you wont see or experience as much, this is bucket list must!! We cant wait to go back to Iceland and do another hike with this company!

The tour guides are really nice, they told us information about glacier, and they played snow with us. The view of course was fantastic. I really recommend the 5 hour trip, it's not as tiring as we thought, and it is totally worth it.

This tour was awesome! Don't be put off by the length of the hike. You don't have to be in crazy good shape to survive this one. If you have the time in your schedule, I would recommend doing this 5 hour hike, because you get higher up on the glacier and see the most spectacular views. Amazing photo opportunities everywhere, and the guides give you plenty of time to pause and snap shots along the hike. Shoutout to Jessica and Norman, our friendly and knowledgable guides (bonus points for being Canadian - gotta love finding Canada nice all around the globe). Thank you for an amazing experience! :)
