Embark on an unforgettable eight-hour guided tour in Greenland, featuring ice caving, iceberg cruising, and a host of other thrilling activities. Adventurers keen on exploring Greenland's most stunning landscapes with the expertise of a local guide should book a spot on this small-group tour today.

Your epic day in Greenland begins in the morning at the pier of either Kulusuk or Tasiilaq, depending on where you are staying. Both of these settlements are easy to reach from Reykjavik Domestic Airport. Here, you'll meet your local guide and the rest of the tour joiners.

For the next eight hours, your group of up to six adventurers will be in the company of an experienced guide. They will keep you safe and entertained with exciting trivia about your Greenland destinations.

After a brief overview of the day, you'll board an authentic motorboat operated by a trusted local hunter from Kulusuk. A 20 to 45-minute boat ride will take you to the Apusiaii glacier, also known as Apusiaajik, which serves as your main destination for the day.

Along the way, you'll marvel at the sight of numerous drifted icebergs carried from faraway glaciers. The experience is breathtaking as the boat takes you close to admire and take photos of the floating giants.

As you reach the glacier front, you'll be greeted by the awe-inspiring sight of towering ice walls. Upon disembarking from the boat, the guide will help you suit up with glacier equipment and give you a safety briefing to prepare you for a back-to-back ice exploration.

Equipped with harnesses, helmets, crampons, and ice axes, you'll embark on an easy glacier walk. The adventure is kept exciting by exploring diverse terrain surrounded by panoramic views of Greenland. Those interested can also try their hand at ice climbing.

One of the day's highlights is the exploration of the only known ice cave in Greenland, a hidden gem deep in the Apusiaii glacier. Unique ice formations and walls of different colorations will welcome you inside the ice cave.

As you admire this frozen wonderland, don't forget to take photos, as only a few people have ventured into this area.

Following the ice cave exploration, you'll enjoy a taste of local Greenlandic cuisine. Depending on availability, delicacies such as dried seal, cured arctic char or salmon, narwhale mattak, berries, and edible flowers will be on the menu, accompanied by bread, cheese, salami, coffee, and tea for a satisfying lunch.

After lunch, the group will set off for a fishing adventure in a nearby bay. Here, you'll have the opportunity to catch cod, contributing to the feed for a pack of Greenlandic dogs owned by your hunter guide.

You'll then visit a small island where the dogs roam freely, learning how to feed them and hearing fascinating hunting stories.

After an adventurous day, you'll take the boat ride back to Kulusuk or Tasiilaq, marking the end of this eight-hour tour.
