To begin your adventure, you'll take a complimentary bus ride from Keflavik International Airport to your hotel in downtown Reykjavik. As soon as the bus leaves the airport, you'll be surrounded by the lava fields and rugged coasts of the Reykjanes Peninsula.
On your way to Iceland's capital city, you will stop at the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. This world-renowned spa is known for its healing waters, vivid azure colors, and luxurious treatments.
It’s in the middle of a moss-covered lava field, giving it an otherworldly atmosphere.
This tour package includes the standard comfort entrance to the geothermal spa, which features a silica mud mask, towel use, and facility access.
If you want to upgrade your entrance package, you can choose the premium entrance during the booking process for an extra cost.
The premium entrance provides extras like more silica mud masks, a bathrobe and towel use, and a glass of sparkling wine when dining at the acclaimed LAVA restaurant.
After a relaxing geothermal bath, you'll continue your journey to the Icelandic capital. Upon arrival, you'll check in at your hotel and rest before exploring the city's charming streets.
You can opt to go to Hallgrimskirkja Church, an iconic landmark with breathtaking panoramic city views.
The Harpa Concert Hall, a stunning glass building by the harbor, and the Sun Voyager sculpture, a famous viking ship-inspired landmark by the waterfront, are two amazing attractions you can also choose to see as you spend your time in Reykjavik.
In the evening, you can take a complimentary northern lights tour. Iceland is one of the best places to see this stunning natural phenomenon, so you should take advantage of this experience.

On your second day in Iceland, you’ll journey into Iceland’s most famous tourist route, the Golden Circle. This region covers 190 miles (300 kilometers) and features three of the most visited natural attractions in the country.
For your convenience, a minibus will pick you up from your accommodation or at a designated bus stop in the city.
The journey will take you around 31 miles (50 kilometers) into the countryside, where you’ll see snowy plains, valleys, and mountains, to the first highlight of the Golden Circle.
First on your itinerary is the captivating Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of profound historical and geological significance.
Here, you can walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, witnessing each year's gradual drift.
Besides the stunning geological features, Thingvellir National Park is notable for its rich history. Althingi, the oldest national parliament in the world, was founded in this lush valley.
Continuing your adventure, you’ll arrive at the Geysir geothermal area, home to the renowned Strokkur geyser.
Be prepared to be amazed as you watch the Strokkur geyser erupt, shooting boiling water up to an impressive 66 feet (20 meters) into the sky. The anticipation and thrill of witnessing this natural spectacle are beyond compare.
The third attraction on the scenic route is the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, where the Hvita River plunges into a rugged canyon around 105 feet (32 meters) down. As you approach this mighty cascade, you'll feel the refreshing spray on your face surrounded by icy cliffs.
After your time in the Golden Circle, you will join a snowmobiling tour across the Langjokull glacier, the second-largest ice cap in Iceland.
The snowmobile ride takes you through ever-changing terrain, from smooth glacial expanses to undulating mounds of ice. Throughout the tour, you’ll see panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, glaciers, and untouched Arctic wilderness.
After a day of adventure in the countryside, you’ll return to your accommodation in Reykjavik.

You can choose to explore the city's museums, galleries, and cafés to have a better understanding of the local culture. The streets of downtown Reykjavik are compact yet charming, allowing you to stroll around its beautiful corners under the winter skies.
If you're up for more adventures, you can take a sightseeing tour of the rolling farmland, fast-moving waterfalls, and rugged lava fields that characterize the South Coast.
It’s one of the most visited regions in Iceland, even in winter, due to its beautiful sceneries and proximity to Reykjavik.
If you join a guided tour of the South Coast, you'll see the region's most notable attractions, such as the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Skogafoss waterfall, and Reynisfjara black sand beach.
If you would like a more active day, you can also take a glacier hike on the frozen wonderland of the Solheimajokull glacier. Located on the South Coast, Solheimajokull Glacier is an outlet glacier of the mighty Myrdalsjokull Glacier.

What to bring
Good to know
The northern lights are a natural phenomenon, so while sightings can’t be guaranteed, this itinerary is designed to give you the best possible chance of seeing them if conditions allow. Your itinerary may also be adjusted slightly to better fit your arrival time, giving you peace of mind and flexibility.
Some optional activities, such as snowmobiling, may require a valid driver’s license, while others may need additional details in advance—your travel planner will guide you through any necessary preparations. If you choose to go snorkeling or diving, you must be comfortable in the water, able to swim, and may need to provide medical documents.
During winter, Icelandic roads and pavements can be slippery. We recommend wearing shoes with slip-resistant soles or bringing ice-grip covers, which can be purchased at most supermarkets and gas stations.
