This half-day excursion begins when a local guide exclusively picks your group up from a point by your accommodation in Reykjavik. Finally, you will come to the powerful glacial waterfall of Gullfoss. Translating to ‘the Golden Waterfall’ and thus the namesake of the Golden Circle, this beautiful feature is powerful and inspiring. In winter, its surroundings become crusted in icicles and snow, while in summer, its flow is even stronger, and you may see rainbows in the blooming spray.

If you wish, you can minimize time at the three major attractions to include several more, such as a visit to the Kerid Crater Lake or Efstidalur dairy farm.
