Please bring your voucher to one of these locations:

Reykjavík City Hall,  Tjarnargata 11, 101 Reykjavík. Open weekdays 09:00-16:00.

Reykjavík Service Center, Borgartún 12-14. 105 Reykjavík. Open weekdays 09:00-16:00.

Árbær Open Air Museum, Kistuhylur, 110 Reykjavík. Open every day 13:00-17:00.

Reykjavík Maritime Museum, Grandagarður 8, 101 Reykjavík. Open every day 10:00-17:00.

Reykjavík Art Museum - Kjarvalsstaðir, Flókagata, 105 Reykjavík. Open every day 10:00-17:00.

Learn about Iceland through the Reykjavík's many museums. At the Settlement Centre, you can get a remarkable insight into the life of the first Viking settlers; all in the vicinity of an unearthed Viking longhouse—discovered only a decade ago in the city centre itself.

At Árbær Open Air Museum, the myriad of old houses and reconstructed homes of the locals from the late 1700's until the 1950's comes alive each day with activities and traditionally clothed staff, who are more than willing to let you try your hand at old-fashioned Icelandic farm work.

The Maritime Museum will show the development of the Icelandic fish industry through the years, and at The National Museum, you'll learn the story of Iceland from the medieval days to current contemporary culture.

You could also visit the Reykjavík Family Park and Zoo, the perfect location for the little ones. Nearby lies the grand geothermal swimming pool Laugardalslaug, ideal for a soak after a day in the park. Access to all city pools is included with your card, so feel free to explore each or all of them.

So don't wait! Explore Reykjavík in-depth with the 72-Hour City Card. Check availability by choosing a date.

If you are planning to visit Reykjavik, get a city card. It's easy to reserve, and there are many pick-up locations throughout the city. We took full advantage of this card by visiting a lot of museums & several local pools, using the city center bus, riding the Videy Island ferry, and enjoying discounts at many restaurants, events, & venues around the city. The value you get from this card is WAY MORE than what you pay for it. Highly recommended!

The City Card is worth the price which is equaled easily by not paying 470 kr for each time getting on a bus, a ride valid for only 1 hour 15 minutes. So, in two days of bus rides and one museum, I had covered the cost of three days purchase and the rest done was gratis. I enjoyed the Dalhuis thermal spa. But most of all I enjoyed riding around the city on the busses to see it all and recommend the whole of Bus 12 for great views. Loved the minimalist architecture seen throughout the city. Iceland is GREAT!!

The city card is very fairly priced compared to other cities and we enjoyed all of the places that we visited with it-- The Settlement Exhibition, The Art Museum, The Photography Museum... Some of these places are a little on the small side, so it would have been hard to stomach individual entrance fees, but the city card made it so that we could check them all out guilt-free. And, however small the museums were, we were still very happy to have visited them by the time we left!

Good value, especially considering each bus ticket is about $4USD per person.

The City card is totally worth it. We had it for 72 hrs and since we did not rent a car, we used it a lot. The card gives you free entry into many good museums and a discount at the Saga Museum. Highly recommend!
