Immerse yourself in one of the world's most luxurious and beautifully located geothermal spas by booking affordable admission tickets to the Sky Lagoon. The Saman Pass is the perfect choice for travelers looking to experience Iceland's volcanic energy and oceanfront relaxation at the best value.
Your visit begins when you arrive at the lagoon, on the coast in Kopavogur just south of Reykjavik. It's about 5 miles (8 kilometers) from the city center, or around a 13-minute drive, and is also easy to reach by bus from Hlemmur Square.
The Saman Pass is the cheapest admission to the Sky Lagoon. It offers the same lagoon experience as the Ser Pass at a lower price, the only difference being that you use the spacious public changing facilities rather than private changing rooms.
With your Sky Lagoon ticket, you’ll get unlimited access to the lagoon, full Skjól Bathing Ritual, and a towel.
After checking in, you'll receive a wristband that opens your locker and allows you to make purchases throughout the spa. The shared changing facilities include showers with complimentary shampoo and conditioner and hair dryers.
As you reach the lagoon, an oceanfront setting of moss-covered lava, a traditional turf house, and a 230-foot (70-meter) infinity edge welcomes you. From the warm water, you look out over Reykjavik's rocky coastline and the open Atlantic Ocean.
The water stays between 100 and 104 F (38 and 40 C) throughout the year, so the lagoon is comfortable to enjoy in every season. Visit during summer to soak beneath the midnight sun, or come on a clear winter evening for a chance to see the northern lights while soaking in the warm water.
Your Sky Lagoon admission also includes the signature seven-step Skjól Bathing Ritual. This rejuvenating experience combines heat, cold, steam, and skincare treatments for complete relaxation.
You begin with Laug, a soak in the geothermal lagoon, followed by Kuldi, a quick dip in the cold pool that awakens your senses. Continue to Ylur, the ocean-view sauna with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Atlantic, then refresh in the cool mist room for Súld.
Next is Mýkt, where you apply the nourishing Sky Body Scrub before entering Gufa, the steam room, where the warmth helps your skin absorb the scrub's hydrating benefits. Complete the ritual with Saft, a refreshing Icelandic crowberry elixir, before returning to the lagoon or the changing facilities.
Once you've dried off, you can browse the Sky Lagoon store, where Guide to Iceland VIP Club members receive a 15% discount on skincare and hair products using the app.
There is no time limit on your visit, though spending around two hours at the lagoon is ideal. This gives you enough time to complete the Skjól Bathing Ritual and enjoy the lagoon at your own pace.
Reserve your Sky Lagoon Saman Pass and enjoy unlimited time in one of Iceland's most scenic geothermal spas. Check availability now by choosing a date.
