The tour begins at Djupivogur Harbor, where you meet your guide. Djupivogur is a coastal town in the south of the Eastfjords region, with a harbor and colorful buildings.

From Djupivogur, you first drive to Hofn Town, known for its harbor. Take some time to walk through the town and enjoy the coastal views.
Next, you visit Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon in Vatnajokull National Park. Jokulsarlon is the deepest lake in Iceland, with floating icebergs of different sizes and colors.
With some luck, you may see seabirds and seals in and around the lagoon. You can take photos, but keep your distance to avoid disturbing them.
Next to the glacier lagoon lies Diamond Beach, where icebergs from Jokulsarlon wash ashore on their way to the ocean and shine on the black volcanic sand.
