Fly over canyons and a waterfall on this 1.5- to 2-hour zipline tour in Vik on Iceland's South Coast. The guided tour combines short hikes with several zipline rides, each giving you a different view of Grafargil Canyon and the landscape around it.
The tour starts at the tour base in Vik, where you meet your certified local guides and get all the safety equipment you need. A 5-minute drive by super jeep then takes you to a short, easy hike into the canyon.
Before the first ride, your guide gives you a full safety briefing and instructions, so you feel confident and ready.
The first zipline, Little Rush, introduces you to ziplining as you glide above the canyon floor. Next comes The Gentle Giant, the longest zipline at 787 feet (240 meters), with panoramic views of the canyon and surrounding mountains.
Between rides, you hike through Grafargil Canyon, known for its rock formations and peaceful atmosphere.
The adventure continues with Leap of Faith, a surprising zipline that adds an extra element of fun. Finally, you ride Big Rush, which takes you directly over Hundafoss Waterfall.
