Snowboarding in Akureyri, Iceland.
Akureyri is the second biggest town in Iceland. It is in the north of Iceland with a population of only 18000 people. It has much more snow there than in Reykjavik. I was born and raised in Akureyri. Hlidarfjall is where I played my no 1 hobby, skiing and snowboarding. Hlidarfjall is considered the best ski area in Iceland. There are also other skiing areas close to Akureyri, like Siglufjordur and Dalvik.
This is where I am going next week for the holidays, like I do every year. I can't wait :)
