Winter is coming.

Not yet though, I hope. Reykjavík is finally having some real summer warmth now. Then everyone wants to go to the swimming pools or our artificial beach, Nauthólsvík. I´m working at Mývatn at the moment, and Fjallhalla will be offering a tour here. The picture above is shot from the hotel Laxa in Mývatn, which just opened this summer. Rated five stars, which a lovely restaurant. I just love the countryside in Iceland, which you might know already from reading my blogs.

Schools are staring soon. New exchange students are coming to town, wanting to explore as much as possible on their short stay here, and have time for studying as well. That is why I have fixed dates for the trips, to make it easier for you guys to plan ahead ;) What is better when hungover or when having a free day off, to take off out of the city on a lovely trip with your new friends, getting to know Iceland with locals and professional service. I cant wait to see you on the trips these upcoming two semesters!

All the best,

Erla Þórdís Traustadóttir.
