I am a landscape and nature photographer living and working in Iceland. I have always felt a strong connection to the country, with my family and ancestors having made this their home since settlement times. After many years of living and working in Hong Kong, my wife, two dogs and I decided it was time for a different pace of life and relocated to this wild North Atlantic island. The Icelandic landscape offers almost infinite possibilities for creating images. I aim to create work that shows people the magic of this country, whether it's through images of well known locations or places that remain unknown to most. The wildly changeable conditions here offer fleeting and exciting photographic opportunities, and capturing a unique moment in time at a particular location is incredibly rewarding. The combination of landscapes and conditions make this my ideal photography location and I feel very lucky to call Iceland home. I work in both digital and film format and enjoy the opportunities and challenges that working with different mediums presents. I love the creative freedom that photography gives me, whether that is capturing images of grand vistas, focusing on landscape details or creating abstract compositions. Iceland sets my imagination free to create work which I hope you enjoy.
