Snæfellsnes peninsula is a truly magical place with so many interesting, beautiful sights. It is only a couple of hour's drive from Reykjavík, so I visit it often. Jökulsárlón is a magnificent glacial lagoon in South Iceland, right by ring-road 1. The glacial lagoon is one of Iceland's greatest wonders of nature; the Crown Jewel of Iceland.
