AMAZING day with Jasmin. The group only had four tourists and Jasmin our resident Geologist. Her passion for geology was evident and she helped her guests read the geological evidence in the landscape. Unlike large group tours she made sure everyone was able to hear her explanation.

It was an amazing experience. Our guide France is a geologist who is very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the volcanic eruptions, various types of lava landscapes and vegetation. It was really very interesting.

A great tour. One review said if you are remotely interested in volcanoes to book this tour and I completely agree. France spoke intelligently but also could scale it down if needed to help the guests understand. She didn’t talk over our heads with her facts and was professional. You can tell she loves her field of study and she did well to share it with us. I would do this tour again and am extremely satisfied with it.

Our Geologist, France was so good that I am writing a review here for the third time because my first two “didn’t take” This was truly a fantastic learning experience highlighted by not only France’s enthusiasm but her ability to take what she knows and convey it to a group of international tourists. I was able to take what I learned and apply this on all my other hiking experiences around the island.
