A tour with a difference; Johann has compiled a gentle ramble through Reykjanes peninsula combined with some local delicacies, modern and ancient, and personal anecdotes. Johann's humour and disarming openness make for a special experience of touring favourite haunts with a friend. His passion for his country, both good and bad, is always present. From fishing tales and trawlers to dream houses and ancient hovels via storm-pounded shores, boiling earth and tectonic tension can thoroughly recommend.

This tour exceeded all expectations. From the moment we were picked up, the journey felt smooth and welcoming. The small group created a friendly atmosphere, unlike crowded big-bus tours. Our guide was passionate, informative, and helped us capture great photos of the Northern Lights. The sky put on an incredible show, and enjoying hot chocolate afterward made it extra special. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Reykjavik in winter!

What an incredible experience! From start to finish, everything felt smooth and well-planned. The small group size meant we weren’t crowded, and it was easy to chat with the guide and other travelers. The Northern Lights were breathtaking — shimmering waves of green across the night sky. To top it off, we enjoyed hot chocolate and light snacks, which made the chilly evening feel warm and memorable.
