We loved it! Our tour guide was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. The cave was very interesting to see and we really enjoyed the experience. There are a lot of stairs to climb and the pathways are uneven, so keep that in mind when booking the tour.
Fantastic to see the formations up close, find your inner child and the rocks have faces. And was a wonderful way to end our Iceland trip!
Fascinating age beautiful cave. Not as large/long as I imagined but beautiful and with a lovely informative guide. Quite a bit of water dripping from the roof after rain earlier in the week, so I recommend a waterproof and being careful with camera equipment if it's been raining.
Very interesting visit to the lava.tube. You climb down a spiral staircase to access 3 different areas. The guide was very helpful and lights and helmets were provided. Only takes about an hour so well worth fitting into a visit to the national park or arnarstapi
