The boat ride was very comfortable (all seats inside, sheltered from the water but with windows all around). You can enjoy the ride outside too if you prefer. The guide, Viktoria, was lovely, as was the opportunity to take 1 hour walking to the old whaling station and back (where we saw 3 arctic foxes). The small ranger station served delicious coffee and crepes, which was a pleasant inclusion on the tour. The small waterfalls and the history of the area rounded out a great tour. Highly recommend.

We saw many shorebirds, including puffins and had a wonderful walking tour of the island. The tour was led by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide.

Overall, an excellent trip Our guide was very informative and helpful. It was one of our stops from our cruise and we booked this tour. The cruise ship offers the same tour, but at twice the price. Be warned, the boat holds 30 passengers and it can get a little bumpy. So, be prepared if you have motion sickness. But, it was a great tour.
