Our tour was absolutely incredible. The guide clearly grew up in the area and knew all sorts of little details about everything. We got to see some hidden gems because of his knowledge of the area. It felt less like a formal tour and more like visiting a friend who is just excited to show you around his town in the best way. Getting to see how the either farm worked was also really cool and a totally unique experience. I can’t recommend this tour and this guide enough.

We really enjoyed this trip. It was clear that our guide was doing this not only as work, but she was also putting emotions when telling stories, as this abandoned village and the whole area are part of her family life and history. We really felt a piece of how the people were living there. Definitely a not miss trip.
