Fascinating exhibit that we could walk at our own pace. There's a very cool longboat that we could walk out onto. Lots of neat history and showcases. Was a great way to start our trip.

I had a wonderful experience during my visit to the Viking Museum. The exhibitions were deeply historical and gave a vivid insight into Viking life both through authentic artifacts and engaging storytelling. It is clear that the museum places great emphasis on preserving and sharing cultural heritage in an inspiring way. A special thanks to the staff, who made the visit even better. I met a very skilled and welcoming worker who took the time to answer questions and shared knowledge with great enthusiasm. This added a personal and educational dimension to the experience.

We did a few museums in Iceland and this one was not worth it. A few boards with info on them...and a Viking ship you can take pictures in. That's about all there was to it. Not worth the money.
