Lim Ji-min (Namyangju Yanol Youth Baseball Team) started the game against the Cheongnyong Nowon-gu Youth Baseball Team in the first My Daily Bae National Youth Baseball Tournament at the Hwaseong Baseball Theme Park on Feb. 22 and pitched three innings, allowing one run (unearned) on three hits and three walks while striking out three. He also batted fourth for the team and went 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored.

Lim gave up an infield single to Jeon Hyun-joon and a walk to Jung Min-kyo to put runners on first and second with no outs in the top of the first inning, but she retired the next batter on a fielder's choice. He got two outs in one at-bat. He then walked Song Si-yoon, but got the final out on a grounder to the second baseman to end the threat.

Lim Ji-min got out of the jam in the top of the second inning. After a leadoff double by Shin Ha-joon in the top of the third, Jeon Hyun-joon walked and Jung Min-kyo singled to put runners on first and third. A throwing error by the defense on a rundown gave up a run, but he retired the next two batters.

Namyangju Yanol regained the lead in the bottom of the third inning with runners on first and third on a wild pitch. Yoon Jang-joon then singled and stole second, and Lim Ji-min followed with a run-scoring double.

Namyangju Yanol gave up a run in the top of the 안전한 파워볼사이트 fifth inning to Nowon-Gu, but held on to the lead to advance to the next round.

After the game, Namyangju Yanol coach Kim Jung-jeong said, “The players didn't practice well because it was the rainy season, but I think they did a good job today, so we were able to win in a good mood,” and said of Lim, “(Lim) has a slight knee injury right now, but I was proud to see him overcome it and throw with confidence.”

“It feels good,” said Lim, who said of the victory, ”I threw with the idea of trusting the defense.”

Lim, who started playing baseball with a friend, has been playing for three years and said the most fun part of the game is pitching and catching. “When I pitch, I feel proud when I get a strikeout, and when I catch, I think it's best to prevent stolen bases,” he said.

Lim's favorite player is Na Sung-beom, who followed his parents to support the KIA Tigers. “I want to imitate his batting, and I think he has good power,” he said. ”I want to win this tournament, and personally, I want to hit a home run.”
