Your day tour begins with a convenient hotel pick-up in the morning. The driver will then take you to a horse farm near Hveragerdi town, which is known for its geothermal activity.
Once you arrive at the farm, you’ll meet your riding guide and the sturdy Icelandic horses joining you on today’s adventure. This breed of horses is very approachable and known for their calm temperaments.
The Icelandic horses are also well-suited for traversing challenging terrain and can thrive in harsh weather conditions. These beautiful horses use two unique gaits or riding styles, the tolt and the flying pace, which your expert guide will explain before the start of the tour.
