Jump aboard this boat cruise to obtain the best possible view of Reykjavík's famous fireworks on New Year's Eve. If you want to ring in the new year in style with a glass of champagne, as the sky over Iceland's capital explodes in a colourful spectacle, this is the tour for you.

You will sail away from the Old Harbour in the city centre for an amazing spectacle cruise in Faxaflói Bay, where you will have a fabulous view over the entire city of Reykjavík, as well as towards its neighbouring towns.

Like clockwork each year's end, Icelanders flock to the streets of the city to shoot up thousands of fireworks. There's no official fireworks display, but the locals are total fanatics when it comes to sparklers and crackers, resulting in a firework show that takes over every crook and cranny of the city.

Your luxury comfort vessel leaves the Reykjavík harbour an hour or so before the stroke of midnight and will be back in the docks about half an hour after midnight, so you'll get a chance to see the climax of the firework explosions from the open waters of the bay.

You will receive a complimentary glass of Champagne as midnight approaches and, as the clock strikes twelve, you will all raise a toast to the New Year along with the rest of your group and your friendly local guides.

On the boat, you can choose from a spot in a cosy indoor saloon, or stay on the open-air deck, braving the cold and feeling the breeze. Then, simply enjoy the views over the glittering lights of Iceland's capital as your boat cruises onwards. If the skies are clear, you might even enjoy a seasonal Northern Lights display as well.

After the tour, you are dropped off in the heart of the city, giving you a chance to experience the electric atmosphere in town and dance the night away. Don't miss out on this essential New Year's experience in Iceland. Check availability by choosing a date.
