Come see some of the fairest landscapes in Iceland belonging to the sun-dappled South Coast. The attractions you will be seeing include the iconic Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, Vík Village and Reynisfjara volcanic beach, among others, on this day tour perfect for any nature-loving sightseers visiting Iceland.

Seljalandsfoss is one of Iceland's highest waterfalls, at 63 m (197 ft). The waterfall is a charming interlude in the rocky, rolling countryside, and includes a path right up to the waterfall, behind it, and out the other side. Feel the spray on your face as you venture in.

The next waterfall, Skógafoss, is one of the largest waterfalls in the country, with a width of 25 m (82 ft) and a drop of 60 m (200 ft). Due to the amount of spray the waterfall produces, a single or even double rainbow is often on display when it's sunny.

The picturesque village of Vík then gives you a place to buy souvenirs, refuel with a cool drink or a snack and practice your Icelandic with the locals.

A short distance from the village is Reynisfjara beach, full of volcanic stones worn smooth by the water and black sand pounded by the surf. Have your picture taken in front of Garðar, the basalt columns which characterise the cliffs.

Listen to the waves crash against the shore and the spectacularly shaped basalt sea stacks called Reynisdrangar out in the ocean. You'll find the beach teeming with birdlife nesting on the cliffs and wheeling through the sky.

On the way back to the city, we will pass through lush farmlands with the sheep and horses that make Icelanders so proud. Your tour guide will share some of the fascinating histories of the region on your return, highlighting the wind-swept Icelandic countryside.

Don't miss out on this popular jaunt to Iceland's most thrilling natural attractions belonging to the South Coast. Check availability by choosing a date.

Beautiful trip, even though it was cold and foggy, we did see a lot at the stops, and I imagine in summer this tour is mesmerizing. Even in winter, highly recommend, and everything went down according to schedule and description. Very informative guide too.

This tour was absolutely PHENOMENAL! The tour guide was extremely helpful and professional and the entire experience was great. We were able to see all three waterfalls, the black sand beach in Vik, a glacier, and much more. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this tour for all tourists as it is a lot of bang for your buck!

I went on the Full Day South Coast Tour and had so much fun. The tour guide was very informative. Each stop we had a great amount of time to walk around, sight see and take photos. We even got an extra stop to see a glacier. Which was breath taking! I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone! Also for those who are on a budget I would advise you to bring snacks and drinks because the resturants and cafes there can be pricey.

Fantastic tour. Our tour guide Katharina was amazing, gave us so much information so the drive to our first stop, which took approximately 2 hours, seem to go by quickly. She was so friendly, always told us when we had the next bathroom stop coming up and how long we had at each stop, which was always plenty of time to walk around and enjoy and take pictures. She even put in an extra stop to a glacier which was amazing. The waterfalls were gorgeous, but definitely make sure you have a waterproof coat! The black beach was stunning, and we stopped in the little town off vik which was nice, also had the possibility to grab lunch there and do a little souvenir shopping. The pick up and drop off from our hotel went well and on time. We got picked up in a smaller car then went to the main bus terminal where we got onto a bigger bus. WiFi on the bus, not a lot of legroom which could be a bit uncomfortable for tall people. Driver was great, very safe and friendly. Would recommend this tour to everyone of all ages, would advise you to bring your own lunch and drinks as the places you stop off are a little more expensive and busy. Our tour guide was great and made this a memorable day for us and made us fall in love with Iceland even more.
